This is the beginning of what I hope will be PRLX Leasing layout. I did a little research on HCD layouts, HCD stands for hollow core door so that's where I'm going to start in 2 weeks. Dave Vollmer has construction pictures of his Juanita Division and Enola yard describing the construction of the layout here & here which I think can enable almost anyone to have a great layout. I plan on ordering a 36x80 HCD then the legs needed to support the layout. The cost of the door from Home Depot is $44 plus shipping if I order it on the internet, more likely it'll be a less if I go there myself and lug it on the bus....yeah right.

Well officially have a layout up and running, Its a simple double track oval and a town running down the middle of it. At first I configured the town in your normal + pattern but Im looking at a row of buildings next to each other with a 2 lane road. Below is a video of me running some trains with Roadrailers and TTX FBOX cars. Pics will follow soon after I make some additions and other stuff.
